Dubai property market, October 2024: median AED 1,548/sqft, up 9.2% year on year

In October 2024 the Dubai Land Department registered 20,123 residential sale transactions worth AED 52.9B. Over the 12 months to 31 Oct 2024 the median price of apartments and villas was AED 1,548/sqft, up 9.2% on the prior 12 months. Off-plan sales were 58.7% of the 12-month total. Figures count registered sales from official DLD open data, never listings or asking prices.

Compiled retrospectively on 15 Oct 2026, when this series of monthly editions began. It uses the register as it stood then, so its October 2024 count includes registrations that arrived after the month’s regular publication date.
